Description

DP World Brisbane is seeking for a Senior Manager – Business Improvement to lead transformative initiatives that enhance productivity, safety, and operational excellence across our terminal. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with a passion for continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and strategic change.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive improved customer experience by delivering projects on time and implementing productivity and safety enhancements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the business.
  • Manage end-to-end improvement projects with a focus on automation, cost savings, and measurable value creation.
  • Lead change initiatives using structured project management approaches to ensure successful and sustainable outcomes.
  • Coach and support teams in Lean and Six Sigma, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Leverage data analysis and dashboards to support strategic decisions and ensure compliance with business processes.
  • Champion a strong safety culture by leading safe practices, ensuring incident reporting, and aligning with WHS legislation.
  • Ensure all initiatives and processes comply with internal policies and legal requirements for sustainable operations.

 

Qualification, Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant business or engineering field, or over 10 years’ experience in high-paced operational environments.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (minimum Green Belt) or equivalent demonstrated experience in business improvement methodologies.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills, with the ability to operate independently in dynamic environments.
