Job Description: Conduct, document, and record inspections of all contractor activities accessing the railway right of way, ensuring adherence to the Railway Route Protection Procedure.Verify that permits to work, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS) are in place and followed prior to any site work activities commencing.Monitor on-site activities for adherence to electrical, signalling, track, and safety standards; halt work as required to mitigate hazards.Monitor and maintain access control procedures, including issuance of permits, rail block notifications, and coordination with rail operators and maintenance teams.Communicate and coordinate corrective actions and follow-up inspections.Communicate safety requirements and Route Protection rules to all contractors, providing toolbox talks as needed.Provide reports and cooperate with investigations related to railway right of way access.Ensure accurate record-keeping of all inspections, clearances, permits, and access logs for audit and safety reporting.Support continuous improvement initiatives for access processes, risk controls, and compliance with Dubai Railway Law.Required Criteria:Minimum 3 years of transport or construction site safety experience, with exposure to right-of-way access and/or contractor oversight.Knowledge of applicable safety assurance standards, laws and regulations relevant to the specific experience.NEBOSH Certification Understanding of risk assessment, RAMS, and permit-to-work systems.Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and ability to enforce safety rules Must hold a valid UAE Driving License
