Job Purpose

We are currently seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our operations team at Rocke Brothers in Tottenham, Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight, working closely with the operations team and customers to ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time. You will operate heavy combination vehicles in a fast-paced port logistics environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance and customer service. This is a permanent full-time position, with working hours aligned to operational requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Safely operate HC vehicles to transport and deliver freight in accordance with operational requirements
  • Complete deliveries and collections safely, efficiently and within required timeframes
  • Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Ensure all freight is secured, handled and transported in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with the operations team regarding any delays or issues
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, Chain of Responsibility requirements and workplace health and safety standards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Current HC Heavy Vehicle Licence with a strong and safe driving record
  • Current and valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) – essential
  • Previous experience in container transport, port logistics or a similar freight environment
  • Strong understanding of heavy vehicle safety, Chain of Responsibility and road transport requirements
  • Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
