Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM/HR, and SAP Ariba. Experience working with SAP ERP/S/4HANA environments, including implementation, enhancement, and production support, is required. Candidates must possess strong requirements gathering and functional configuration skills, be comfortable working independently with clients, and demonstrate accountability and strong communication abilities.

Location: UAE – on-site preferredStart: ASAPWe are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong combined expertise across SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM/HR and SAP Ariba.The consultant will support a portfolio of managed-service clients alongside SAP ERP/S/4HANA projects, including brownfield implementations, ongoing production support, new requirements, enhancements and expansion work.This is a hands-on, client-facing position. We need someone who can take full ownership of requirements and issues from initial discussion through to resolution, rather than simply coordinating between teams.Key responsibilitiesAct as the functional SME across SAP SuccessFactors, HCM/HR and Ariba.Work directly with clients to gather, understand and challenge business requirements.Translate requirements into appropriate SAP functional solutions.Configure and enhance SAP solutions across the relevant modules.Manage production issues, bugs, change requests and new requirements through to resolution.Support SAP ERP/S/4HANA projects and existing managed-service environments.Produce detailed functional documentation and specifications.Work closely with the in-house development team where technical development is required.Lead client discussions and provide clear updates on actions, issues and delivery.Understand the wider business impact of solutions across HR, procurement and the broader SAP landscape.Take accountability for assigned workstreams and proactively drive issues through to completion.Required experienceIdeally 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.Strong hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience.Strong SAP HCM / HR functional knowledge.Strong hands-on SAP Ariba experience.Good understanding of end-to-end HR and procurement business processes.Experience working with SAP ERP and/or S/4HANA environments.Experience across implementation, enhancement and production/application support.Strong requirements gathering and functional configuration experience.Comfortable working directly and independently with clients.What we're looking forThe key requirement is someone who genuinely has functional capability across both sides: SuccessFactors/HCM and Ariba.Alongside technical functional knowledge, we're looking for someone proactive and accountable who can understand the business reason behind a requirement, communicate confidently with clients and take ownership until the work is completed.UAE-based candidates who can work on-site and join quickly are strongly preferred.
