Requirements
Requires a medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology. A dedicated fellowship or subspecialty training in Breast Imaging/Breast Radiology is preferred. Strong consultant-level experience in breast imaging is essential. The candidate must be female and eligible for Consultant-level DHA licensing. Tier 1/internationally recognized qualifications and experience, such as UK CCT/CCST, Irish, American, or Canadian Board, are preferred.

Key responsibilities
Provide specialist interpretation of breast imaging, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
Perform and interpret image-guided breast procedures, including core biopsies, FNAC, and stereotactic procedures, where qualified.
Assess and diagnose breast abnormalities and provide accurate, timely reports.
Participate in multidisciplinary breast clinics and tumour board discussions.
Collaborate with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
Provide expert input on screening, diagnosis, and management of breast disease.
Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and documentation.
Participate in clinical audits, teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
