In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Partner with the Supervisor to support employee performance, manpower utilization, and ongoing training needs
- Plan, organize, and help maintain standard operating practices and procedures within the department
- Lead and guide team members in day-to-day warehouse activities
- Communicate daily workload and priorities, assigning tasks to ensure efficient flow of work
- Adjust staffing levels in collaboration with other Team Leads and Supervisors to meet customer demand
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and direction to team members
- Review and analyze productivity and kitting reports to support established performance goals
- Use problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve operational challenges
- Perform associate or operator duties when operational needs require additional support
- Ensure completed goods are shipped the same day whenever possible
- Report safety, quality, productivity, equipment, or personnel concerns to the Supervisor
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support department and business needs
