We're hiring | Consultant pediatric vascular surgeon
Location: Abu Dhabi / Al Ain / Al Dhafra Region

We are seeking a highly qualified consultant pediatric vascular surgeon to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the Al Dhafra Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing congenital and acquired vascular conditions in infants, children, and adolescents while delivering advanced surgical care in a multidisciplinary pediatric environment.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric vascular diseases and anomalies.
Perform complex pediatric vascular surgeries using open, minimally invasive, and hybrid techniques where appropriate.
Manage congenital vascular malformations, arterial and venous disorders, vascular trauma, and other pediatric vascular conditions.
Collaborate with pediatric surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric cardiologists, neonatologists, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
Conduct pre-operative assessments, surgical planning, post-operative management, and long-term follow-up.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with international clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding treatment options and postoperative care.
Mentor junior physicians, residents, and medical students where applicable.
Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and continuing medical education activities.
