Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.The Role:The Sanitation Operator is directly responsible for the cleanliness of an assigned area within the plant.Key Responsibilities:Perform all assigned activities and job tasks within a line or areaOperate equipment in a safe and efficient mannerWork in conjunction with the quality teamParticipates in Food Safety inspections and reportsMust be forklift certified or have the ability to qualifyMaintain a clean, safe work environment that promotes associate safety and product integrityOther duties and responsibilities as assignedPhysical/Environmental Requirements:Standing on a concrete floorMust be capable of working at elevated heights and or confined spaceWear proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform)Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 lbs.Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicalsMinimum Qualifications:Be 18 years of age or olderHave a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educationMust be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedulesAbility to understand and effectively communicate in the English languagePreferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment2 years of work experience within manufacturingWorking knowledge of food safety practicesComputer ExperienceKnowledge of inventory control principlesCompensation And BenefitsSalary Range $18.00 – $20.00 USDPay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
