Working closely with the Marketing Manager and supporting all hotel departments - especially Food & Beverage - this role develops and executes creative social media strategies that showcase the hotel’s experiences, outlets, events, and lifestyle offerings. Qualifications & skills Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Hospitality, or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar. Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual communication skills. Experience in photography and videography is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented with a passion for hospitality and lifestyle branding. Key responsibilities Social media strategy & content execution Develop, plan, and execute engaging social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms. Create high-quality photo, video, and written content aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. Write compelling captions, posts, and stories that reflect the hotel’s lifestyle, F&B offerings, and guest experiences. Manage and maintain the monthly content calendar in coordination with the Marketing Manager. Content creation & storytelling Support and lead content shoots across hotel departments, with a strong focus on lifestyle, rooms, events, and F&B. Collaborate with chefs, restaurant teams, and operational departments to capture authentic moments. Work with internal teams or external creators to produce visually engaging and on-brand content. Adapt content into platform-specific formats to maximize reach and engagement. Community management & engagement Monitor and manage all social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Build and grow the online community by encouraging engagement and fostering brand loyalty. Manage online reputation by monitoring mentions, reviews, and guest feedback across platforms. Brand consistency & quality control Ensure all content aligns with Le Méridien’s brand identity, tone of voice, and visual standards. Work closely with the Marketing Manager for content approvals prior to publishing. Maintain a consistent and premium visual and storytelling standard across all platforms. Analytics & reporting Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, including engagement, reach, and growth metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to improve content strategy and campaign performance. Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activity. Coordination & collaboration Liaise with photographers, videographers, influencers, and creative partners when required. Support wider marketing campaigns, hotel promotions, and seasonal initiatives. Collaborate with all hotel departments to identify content opportunities and stories. Working conditions & reporting The role reports to the Marketing Manager. Works closely with all hotel departments, especially F&B, Rooms, and Events teams. Standard working hours with flexibility for shoots, events, and operational needs.
