The role will focus on networking, DICOM, PACS, system integration, troubleshooting, and customer support, while coordinating with hospital and clinic IT teams to ensure effective implementation and optimal system performance.The Service Engineer will also provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers, working closely with hospitals, clinics, and IT departments to implement solutions, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful system deployment and customer satisfaction.Job ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain dental imaging software, systems, and related solutions.Perform DICOM and PACS integration between dental imaging equipment and healthcare information systems.Configure and troubleshoot networks connecting dental equipment, servers, workstations, and hospital systems.Integrate and support CBCT, panoramic, and intraoral imaging systems with dental software and digital dentistry platforms.Troubleshoot connectivity, networking, software, hardware, and system integration issues.Coordinate with hospital and clinic IT departments to ensure successful system implementation and integration.Provide technical support during installation, implementation, commissioning, and post-installation phases.Support digital dentistry and dental imaging solutions across customer sites.Provide user training, technical guidance, and basic system documentation.Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently while minimizing system downtime.Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and third-party technology providers to resolve complex technical issues.Ensure systems are properly configured and integrated according to technical and customer requirements.QualificationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong knowledge of networking, and troubleshooting.Good understanding of DICOM, PACS, Worklist, and medical imaging workflows.Knowledge of dental software and digital dentistry solutions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience3 - 5 years of experience in IT engineering, system integration, or a related technical role. Hands-on experience with DICOM, PACS, SQL databases, and medical imaging environments. Experience integrating CBCT, panoramic, and intraoral imaging systems with dental software. Experience with network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and software/system integration. Experience working with healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, or healthcare IT departments is an advantage. Knowledge of HL7 is highly preferred.
