Requirements
Qualifications include a certification as a biomedical engineer from an accredited school, and a diploma or associate degree in biomedical engineering or biomedical technology. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a BMET, with EMS and hospital-based work experience, and experience in multi-modality hospital-based equipment are required. OEM training on various hospital equipment is also necessary. Candidates must be able to travel internationally, have an in-date passport with no travel restrictions, and be flexible to fast changes in tempo and working environment, functioning effectively under pressure and prioritizing tasks as required.
