The Onshore Emergency Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving emergency preparedness and response systems for onshore operations.The position works closely with management, operations personnel, emergency response teams, government authorities, and external agencies to ensure the organization is prepared to effectively manage operational emergencies.The role focuses on reducing the likelihood and potential impact of incidents, protecting people and assets, maintaining effective emergency communications and coordination, and ensuring that emergency response capabilities remain aligned with applicable regulations, international standards, and industry best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Emergency Response Plans, procedures, and ICS-based systems.Coordinate response to major and complex emergency incidents.Provide expert advice to management and Incident Commanders.Plan and conduct emergency drills, exercises, and training.Coordinate with government authorities, emergency services, and external agencies.Assess emergency scenarios, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.Ensure emergency response equipment, systems, and resources remain ready.Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and international standards.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.Minimum 8 years relevant experience, preferably in oil & gas or other high-risk industries.Strong knowledge of Emergency Management and Incident Command System (ICS).Experience in emergency planning, incident management, drills, and stakeholder coordination.Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and influencing skills.
