Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in manufacturing. Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering and tracking, a strong understanding of BOM-driven material planning, and experience in stock/consumption tracking and process improvement are essential. Strong coordination, attention to detail, and communication skills are also required.

Air Q Limited is looking for an experienced Material Planner to manage BOM-driven material planning, ordering, availability, and tracking for our Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) operations.The role will play a key part in ensuring materials are available against the production schedule, preventing shortages, and establishing a structured material/job-order tracking process that can support future digitization.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn BOM-driven material ordering and material availability planning for assembly and testing activities.Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to prevent material shortages and production delays.Monitor material availability against production schedules.Identify and resolve gaps in the existing material and job-order tracking process.Maintain accurate material, stock, consumption, and order records.Support the development and improvement of material tracking processes.Coordinate closely with Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, and the shop floor.Monitor material risks and proactively flag potential shortages or delays to the VP of AIT.Ensure BOM ordering accuracy and timely material availability.Work with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering, tracking, and reporting.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.5+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering and tracking is required.Strong understanding of BOM-driven material planning.Experience in stock/consumption tracking and material reporting.Experience in material tracking process improvement or process design.Strong coordination skills across Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, and Production/Shop Floor teams.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.Process-oriented mindset with the ability to bring structure to evolving processes.Key Performance AreasMaterial availability and shortage/stockout rateBOM ordering accuracyMaterial and job-order tracking accuracyCompletion of material tracking processes against planWhat We OfferOpportunity to work in a growing UAV and unmanned systems environment.A hands-on role supporting Assembly, Integration & Testing operations.Opportunity to contribute to the development and digitization of material planning processes.Collaborative and cross-functional working environment.
