Description
The Site BIM Coordinator is assigned to projects in the Construction Stage for which Mirage has been appointed as the Site Supervision Consultant. The role is based either on-site or at Mirage Head Office and is responsible for ensuring compliance of the Contractor's digital procedures, BIM processes, and deliverables with the Client's requirements as defined in the Exchange Information Requirements (EIR). The Site BIM Coordinator works closely with the Mirage Site Supervision Team, Digital Delivery Team, and the Contractor's BIM/Digital Delivery Team to facilitate effective construction-stage digital coordination, quality assurance, model validation, and project information management. Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years experience working on construction projects with BIM implementation responsibilities. Minimum 3 years experience in Construction Stage BIM Coordination, Site BIM Coordination, Digital Delivery, or similar roles. Experience in construction simulation, model validation, digital handover, and site-based BIM implementation.Previous professional experience in the UAE is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain project information within the Common Data Environment (CDE), including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ensuring compliance with project standards, workflows, folder structures, naming conventions, access rights, and permissions. Review and assess the suitability of Design Stage digital project information and federated models for Construction Stage implementation. Review, verify, and where applicable approve Contractor BIM documentation, including:BIM Execution Plans (BEP)Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP)BIM Competency AssessmentsModel Responsibility MatricesOther project-related BIM procedures and standards. Produce, review, verify, and coordinate construction sequence simulations and 4D planning models for project execution. Review and validate Construction Stage and As-Built BIM models to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, Employer Information Requirements (EIR), and project objectives. Provide technical BIM support to the Site Supervision Team in assessing the compliance of constructed works against approved digital models and project requirements. Conduct model quality reviews, clash detection, coordination checks, and issue management activities using approved BIM tools and workflows. Record, monitor, and manage BIM-related issues within the CDE and coordinate their resolution with relevant stakeholders. Support digital handover processes and ensure project information is delivered in accordance with client and project requirements. Continuously identify opportunities to improve BIM workflows, digital processes, and project delivery efficiency. Skills and CompetenciesStrong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and information management processes. Proficiency in the preparation, review, and implementation of BIM documentation, including BEPs, MIDPs, EIRs, and Responsibility Matrices.
