The campus is located in Dubailand, next to the Villa community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site School Bus Driver role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities, following designated routes and schedules. Daily duties include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining a clean and orderly bus interior, and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. The role also involves supervising students on the bus, promoting positive behavior, and ensuring that boarding and disembarking are carried out safely. The driver works closely with school staff and families, communicates any concerns regarding student safety or transport issues, and completes required logs and reports.QualificationsStrong professional driving skills, including experience in Truck Driving and holding a valid CDL Class B or equivalent heavy vehicle license.Demonstrated Defensive Driving skills with a solid understanding of road safety practices and local traffic regulations.Effective Communication skills to interact calmly and clearly with students, families, and school staff.Customer Service skills to provide a supportive, respectful, and welcoming environment for students and guardians.Clean driving record with no major traffic violations and adherence to school and regulatory safety standards.Previous experience as a school bus driver or in student transport is preferred.Ability to manage groups of children on the bus, including handling routine behavior issues in a fair and consistent manner.Basic English language proficiency (additional languages spoken in the local community are an asset).Physically fit to meet the demands of the role, including assisting students when boarding or disembarking if required.Familiarity with Dubai roadways and routes in the Dubailand and surrounding areas is an advantage.
