Guide the development, implementation and execution of engineering programs as well as ensure that governance, oversight, and control of these programs are in place to support safe and reliable Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) operation. Key activities, responsibility & accountability Provides governance and oversight of the CRH Program. Provides technical support regarding CRH Program for all units. Interfaces with industry on CRH issues. Maintains the CRH Program per applicable program plan. Performs the technical, schedule, and cost activities associated with the CRH Program. Monitors heat exchanger performance through using the appropriate efficiency and effectiveness methods. Ensures the development and maintenance of the Heat Exchanger Program. Optimizes required activities and their frequencies on each in-scope HX through trending inspection/test data to maintain heat exchanger’s integrities. Provides technical guidance to the design change or temporary modifications that will influence the equipment under the program scope. Reviews PM change for inspection and testing. Follow all relevant Business Continuity and Resilience requirements for compliance with, and adherence to, policies, procedures and instructions related to the effective planning for, and response to, incidents and/or business disruptions in order to continue critical business processes and activities with minimal adverse impact. Responsibilities & accountabilities (contd.) Activity: Engineering Program Development Responsibilities and accountabilities: Guide the development of engineering programs in accordance with the regulatory requirements and licensing basis to support safe and reliable operation of BNPP. Guide the development of the engineering, operational, inspection, and maintenance actions that control, within acceptable design limits, the effects of physical degradation of components occurring over time or with use to optimize the length of service of the subject equipment. Develop long-term plans for engineering programs, as well as policies, processes, procedures, guidelines, arrangements, and activities subject equipment performance management or issues at BNPP to enable consistent execution of the programs. Lead the implementation of adjustments to engineering program documents and delivered procedures based on the reference plant or industry best practices as appropriate to verify that they meet BNPP objectives and specific unique conditions and ensure organizational excellence. Guide the development of software tools as required to support engineering programs and verify the input baseline data in the related database to ensure data security and governance. Liaise the review of the corresponding programs for the reference plant, Shin Kori Units 3 & 4, to ensure that they meet BNPP objectives and specific unique conditions. Lead the development of the engineering program’s procedures, processes and guidelines, as required, to ensure that Maintenance and Operations personnel have references for executing the program properly and safely.
