Key Responsibilities Organize and lead technicians, operators and subcontractor teams for daily commissioning activities. Prepare work fronts, testing dossiers, drawings, procedures, tools, PPE, permits and toolbox talks before execution. Supervise chemical cleaning, leak testing, catalyst loading, steam/air blowing, inerting, package start-up, plant start-up and stabilization. Inspect systems for operational readiness and ensure LOTO, access control, barricading and SIMOPS controls are implemented. Guide plant operators and monitor flow, level, temperature and pressure to maintain stable operations without trips or shutdowns. Support DCS activities involving alarms, trips, logic, interlocks, permissives and overrides. Track progress, manpower and spare-part usage; identify constraints and recommend recovery actions. Interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams and control narratives accurately and maintain complete commissioning records.
