A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its neonatal intensive care, high-risk newborn and advanced neonatal services and is seeking a highly skilled consultant neonatologist to join its growing clinical team. Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses, respiratory therapists, allied health professionals and modern neonatal care infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Provide consultant-level care for premature, critically ill and high-risk newborns in NICU and neonatal care settings.
Manage neonatal respiratory distress, sepsis, hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy, feeding difficulties and other complex neonatal conditions.
Perform and supervise neonatal procedures according to clinical expertise, privileges and facility capabilities.
Coordinate multidisciplinary management with neonatology, pediatric surgery, cardiology, neurology, radiology and allied health teams.
Support neonatal resuscitation, ventilation, nutritional management and safe transition from intensive to follow-up care.
Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, prognosis and ongoing neonatal care.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, infection prevention and patient safety initiatives.
