We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gold Assayer / Laboratory Technician / Chemist to analyze and test gold and gold-bearing materials to determine their purity, composition, and value. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of gold assaying techniques and laboratory procedures.Key Responsibilities1. Prepare and test gold ore, bullion, scrap, and alloy samples.2. Perform fire assay, XRF, and other analytical methods to determine gold content and purity.3. Determine gold purity and accurately record and document test results.4. Prepare laboratory reports and communicate findings to relevant team members.5. Operate, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment.6. Follow laboratory safety procedures and proper chemical handling practices.7. Ensure testing activities comply with established laboratory procedures, quality standards, and applicable safety requirements.8.
