Requirements
Requires 10-15 years of experience in data governance, master data management, or data quality, with hands-on experience in MDM platforms (SAP MDG, Informatica, Profisee, Reltio, or Stibo) and familiarity with governance/quality tooling. Strong SQL skills and comfort working with ERP and source-system data structures are essential, along with a track record of establishing governance in low-maturity organizations.

Agthia Group is building a brand-new Group Data & AI function — and we need someone to lead data governance and master data management from the ground up.Today, the same product, customer or supplier can appear differently across different parts of the business — there's no single governance framework making that data trustworthy. You'll build that framework, chair the Data Governance Council, and give the business one version of the truth it can rely on.This is as much a leadership and influence role as a technical one. You'll need the credibility to resolve cross-business data disputes and set standards across teams that don't report to you, and the technical depth to make sure those standards actually stick in the platform.What you'll own:The group's data governance framework: operating model, policies, standards, and chairing the Data Governance CouncilMaster data management across product, customer, supplier and finance domainsData quality, the enterprise data catalog, and business glossaryData privacy and protection practice, including UAE PDPL complianceClose partnership with the Data Engineering & Architecture lead to embed governance directly into the platformWhat you'll bring:10–15 years in data governance, master data management or data qualityHands-on experience with MDM platforms (SAP MDG, Informatica, Profisee, Reltio or Stibo) — not just framework designFamiliarity with governance/quality tooling (Purview, Unity Catalog, Informatica DQ, Ataccama or Collibra)Strong, hands-on SQL and comfort working directly with ERP and source-system data structuresA track record of establishing governance in a low-maturity organisation and driving adoption across business units
