Experience managing acute leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other haematological malignancies, including both autologous and allogeneic transplantation, is required. Experience in clinical research, teaching, or service development is advantageous, as is CAR-T/cellular therapy experience.

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Consultant Haematologist & Oncologist with strong Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) experience to join a leading tertiary-care hospital in Dubai.The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with benign and malignant haematological disorders, including acute and chronic leukaemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma and other blood cancers. The role will also involve the assessment, management and follow-up of patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert inpatient and outpatient consultation and management for haematology and oncology patients.Diagnose and manage malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions.Manage patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic BMT/HSCT.Perform and interpret bone marrow aspiration and biopsy procedures.Manage stem-cell mobilisation, collection, conditioning and transplantation.Provide pre-transplant assessment and post-transplant follow-up.Diagnose and manage complications following transplantation, including infections, graft-versus-host disease and other transplant-related complications.Develop individualised chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted-treatment plans.Work closely with oncology, infectious disease, transfusion medicine, pathology, intensive care and other multidisciplinary teams.Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards and transplant meetings.Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, international clinical guidelines and patient-safety standards.Supervise and mentor junior doctors and clinical staff.Participate in clinical research, audits, teaching and continuing professional development.Contribute to the development and improvement of the hospital's haematology/BMT services.Candidate RequirementsMedical degree from a recognised medical school.Recognised postgraduate qualification in Haematology, Haematology & Oncology, or Medical Oncology.Valid DHA eligibility/licence or eligibility to obtain a UAE licence.Consultant-level clinical experience.Significant experience in Bone Marrow Transplantation / Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT).Experience with both autologous and allogeneic transplantation is highly desirable.Experience managing acute leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other haematological malignancies.Strong multidisciplinary and communication skills.Experience in clinical research, teaching or service development is an advantage.CAR-T/cellular therapy experience would be an additional advantage.Core CompetenciesHaematology & OncologyBone Marrow Transplantation / HSCTAcute & Chronic LeukaemiaLymphomaMultiple MyelomaStem Cell Mobilisation and CollectionChemotherapy & ImmunotherapyTransplant Complication ManagementMultidisciplinary Cancer CareClinical Governance and Patient Safety
