Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate efficient operational programs to maximize machine utilization and product quality while meeting customer expectations.
- Complete and maintain program documentation and file systems.
- Respond to short-term shop needs to keep NC machines operating at maximum efficiency.
- Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying and reporting cost-saving opportunities.
- Stay current on new processes, tools, and methods, and apply them to NC manufacturing.
- Maintain open communication with all personnel, accepting suggestions and instruction.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Engineer to update routers for created or modified part programs.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize Esprit CAD/CAM software.
- Experience programming Mazak INTEGREX E-670HW, INTEGREX E650H2, and CT4500M preferred.
- Mazatrol programming preferred.
- Competency in 3D modeling systems and model creation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of programming experience or 5–7 years of machine operation and programming experience.
- Competency in 3D modeling systems and model creation.
