The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate diagnosis through the examination and interpretation of tissue, cell, and laboratory specimens, while supporting clinicians in patient management. Key responsibilities Examine and interpret surgical pathology, biopsy, cytology, and other diagnostic specimens. Provide accurate and timely pathology reports to support clinical decision-making. Perform and interpret histopathological and cytopathological examinations. Review immunohistochemistry and other ancillary investigations where applicable. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical case discussions. Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists. Ensure quality and accuracy of laboratory diagnostic processes. Participate in quality assurance, clinical governance, and laboratory accreditation activities. Maintain accurate diagnostic records and documentation. Support teaching, training, research, and continuing professional development. Stay updated with advances in pathology, diagnostic techniques, and laboratory medicine. Requirements MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. Recognized postgraduate qualification in pathology/anatomic pathology/clinical pathology/laboratory medicine. Relevant post-specialty clinical experience.
