Job Title: Claims SpecialistLocation: Abu DhabiDuration: 12+ MonthsKey ResponsibilitiesReview, evaluate, and assess contractor claims, including contractual entitlement and substantiation.Prepare detailed claim assessments, responses, recommendations, and supporting documentation.Analyse construction-related delays, disruption, variations, and other contractual events.Review and assess Extension of Time (EOT) claims and associated impacts.Support commercial negotiations with contractors and project stakeholders.Assist in dispute avoidance, resolution, and claims-related discussions.Maintain accurate claims registers, records, and supporting documentation.Prepare regular claims reports and provide updates on the status of ongoing claims.Ensure claims are evaluated in accordance with contractual requirements, project procedures, and applicable standards.Required Qualifications7–12 years of relevant experience in construction claims and contract administration.Strong knowledge and practical experience with FIDIC contracts.Good understanding of UAE/GCC construction contracts and commercial practices.Proven experience in delay analysis, disruption claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or a related discipline.Strong analytical, contractual, negotiation, documentation, and communication skills.Experience working on major construction/infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC is preferred.
