Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in commercial, business development, strategic partnerships, retail management, or key accounts, with a strong understanding of the Qatar retail market. Previous experience with leading retail groups, malls, major brands, or luxury groups is highly preferred, as is an established professional network within Qatar's retail industry. V Mall is looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead and expand our commercial relationships with major retail groups, brands, malls, and strategic partners across Qatar.We are building a next generation digital retail ecosystem that connects leading retailers, brands, and customers through one integrated platform., and we are looking for a senior commercial leader who understands the retail market, knows how to open the right doors, and can turn strategic conversations into long term partnerships.Key Responsibilities:* Lead V Mall's strategic partnership and commercial expansion strategy.* Build and manage relationships with major retail groups, brands, malls, and key decision-makers.* Identify, approach, negotiate, and close high-value B2B partnerships.* Develop a strong pipeline of strategic retail partners and drive agreements from initial contact through signing.* Represent V Mall in senior-level meetings and commercial negotiations.* Structure partnership proposals and commercial terms that create value for both V Mall and its partners.* Work directly with the Founder and leadership team on market expansion and commercial strategy.* Support V Mall's growth across Fashion, Beauty, Luxury, Electronics, Lifestyle, Home and other retail categories.* Build the foundation for future regional partnerships and GCC expansion.What We're Looking For:* 5+ years of experience in Commercial, Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Retail Management, Key Accounts, or related leadership roles.* Strong experience within the Qatar retail market.* Previous experience with leading retail groups, malls, major brands, luxury groups, or large consumer businesses is highly preferred.* An established professional network within Qatar's retail industry is a major advantage.* Proven ability to negotiate and close B2B commercial agreements.* Strong understanding of retail economics, commercial terms, margins, and partnership structures.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.* Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate in a fast-growing environment.* Arabic and English are preferred.This is not a traditional sales role.We are looking for a senior commercial leader who can help shape V Mall's retail ecosystem, establish relationships with the market's leading players, and play a key role in the company's next stage of growth.
