Job DescriptionThe Technical Compliance Specialist (iGaming) supports the assessment, monitoring, and assurance of iGaming platforms to ensure compliance with applicable technological regulations, standards, and guidelines. The role focuses on the technical evaluation of iGaming systems, platforms, software components, and supporting infrastructure to ensure integrity, fairness, security, and regulatory compliance.The role supports regulatory decision-making by conducting detailed technical reviews, coordinating with testing laboratories, and engaging with gaming operators and technology providers. The Technical Compliance Specialist operates under defined frameworks and supervision, contributing specialist technical expertise to the technology compliance function.Responsibilities Conduct technical compliance assessments of iGaming platforms, including player account systems, game engines, RNG components, wallet systems, and third-party integrations. Review iGaming system architectures, hosting environments, and infrastructure designs to assess alignment with approved regulatory and technical requirements. Support inspections and assessments of gaming operators to verify adherence to technological compliance obligations. Review technical documentation submitted by gaming operators, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, change records, and security documentation. Support the review of RNG certification reports, game configurations, payout tables, and system parameters. Assist in the assessment of software updates, platform changes, and infrastructure modifications to ensure controlled and approved changes to regulated systems. Coordinate with independent testing laboratories to support review of testing scope, findings, and remediation actions. Prepare technical compliance assessment reports, documenting observations, risks, non-compliance issues, and recommended corrective actions. Engage with gaming operators and technology providers to clarify technical requirements and support remediation activities. Support ongoing monitoring of operator compliance through reviews of periodic submissions and event-driven notifications. Maintain accurate records, evidence repositories, and tracking logs related to technical compliance activities.
