Overview of the role The Spare Parts Manager for Hino Commercial Vehicles will lead the Spare Parts function in the UAE. This role involves ensuring the achievement of monthly performance targets and annual budgets, maintaining optimal inventory performance, engaging with B2B partners and distributors, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The manager will work within Al-Futtaim Automotive's governance standards and values, aligning all spare parts operations with the strategic goals of the organization. High performance in achieving financial, operational, and team development targets is essential for success in this role. What you will do Financial & commercial accountability Accountable for delivery of monthly spare parts sales targets and annual revenue and gross margin budgets. Prepare, manage, and control the annual spare parts operating budget. Monitor monthly performance versus budget and implement corrective actions where required. Manage inventory investment, working capital, and cost control to support business profitability. Spare parts operations & inventory management Lead end to end spare parts operations including forecasting, ordering, stocking, and distribution of genuine Hino parts. Ensure optimal inventory levels to support workshop operations, B2B customers, fleet accounts, and distributors. Maintain inventory health through effective stock turnover, ageing control, and obsolescence reduction. Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventories in line with company and OEM standards. Procurement & principal / distributor coordination Liaise with Hino principals and approved suppliers on parts procurement, pricing, promotions, warranty claims, and returns. Ensure full compliance with OEM policies, ordering processes, and documentation requirements. Support distributor and dealer network requirements in line with agreed service levels. People leadership & development Lead, coach, and develop the Spare Parts team to achieve agreed performance objectives. Ensure effective manpower planning, performance management, training, and succession planning. Promote a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and adherence to Al-Futtaim values. Stakeholder & customer management Work closely with Service, Sales, Warranty, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless aftersales support. Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B customers, fleet operators, distributors, and internal stakeholders. Act as the escalation point for critical spare parts related customer issues. Systems, reporting & compliance Ensure effective use of ERP / DMS systems for parts ordering, inventory control, invoicing, and reporting. Prepare and present regular management reports covering sales, inventory, ageing, and KPI performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and health & safety standards.
