Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and manage colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal disorders and pelvic floor conditions.
Perform colonoscopy, proctology procedures and colorectal surgery according to scope and privileges.
Provide minimally invasive, laparoscopic or robotic approaches where available and clinically appropriate.
Participate in tumour boards with oncology, radiology, pathology and gastroenterology teams.
Guide stoma care, postoperative recovery, surveillance and long-term patient counselling.
Maintain consent, operative documentation, infection prevention and surgical quality standards.
