Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Load and unload high-temperature ovens for the metal pouring process
Assist with melt operations, including filtering, applying hot tops, covering, and repairing molds
Monitor and maintain temperature control; perform deslagging procedures as required
Disassemble, clean, and rebuild melt pots to ensure safe and efficient operation
Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervision
Adhere to all NOV company policies and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret work orders to determine production requirements
Accurately complete and submit labor tickets
Stage work orders and materials to support the melt process
Assist with melt operations as needed
Prepare and stage work orders for the knockout process
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer literacy required
General knowledge of quality control principles required
Prior experience or familiarity with the investment casting (lost wax) process preferred
