At least 10 years of experience in procurement, with significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement management, strategic sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and contract administration.
Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas EPC projects, materials, equipment, services, and subcontracting requirements.
Experience managing the complete procurement cycle, including RFQs/RFPs, tendering, technical/commercial bid evaluations, negotiations, purchase orders, and expediting.
Strong contract and commercial management skills, including terms and conditions, cost control, claims, and supplier performance.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage procurement teams and coordinate effectively with Engineering, Projects, Construction, Finance, QA/QC, and Logistics departments.
Strong supplier/vendor evaluation and relationship-management skills, including developing and maintaining approved vendor lists.
Excellent negotiation and cost-saving skills, with a proven ability to achieve competitive pricing and favourable commercial terms.
Computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experienced with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
Ability to develop and monitor procurement plans, budgets, schedules, KPIs, procurement reports, and cost-saving initiatives.
Good knowledge of international sourcing, logistics, import/export procedures, Incoterms, and Oil & Gas industry standards.
Strong understanding of HSE, quality requirements, compliance, ethical procurement, and company procurement policies.
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects, priorities, and critical procurement deadlines.
CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent professional certification is a must.
Experience with major Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, or international contracting companies is a must.
