The role involves providing direct nursing care to students, including assessing health concerns, administering first aid, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating emergency responses. The School Nurse will maintain health records, monitor immunizations, and support school health policies and procedures in line with local regulations and best practices. Daily responsibilities include health screenings, managing the school clinic, promoting wellness and preventive care, and collaborating with educators and families to support student well-being and safe participation in school activities.
