Job description
One of the leading hospitals in the UAE is seeking an experienced consultant neonatologist to provide specialized care to premature, critically ill, and high-risk newborns within the NICU and newborn nursery. The role involves managing complex neonatal cases, supporting high-risk deliveries, and working closely with pediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to premature and critically ill newborns.
Manage complex NICU cases, including respiratory distress, sepsis, and congenital conditions.
Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization of high-risk newborns.
Assist during high-risk and premature deliveries.
Manage mechanical ventilation and other advanced neonatal support.
Monitor nutrition, growth, and development of neonates.
Counsel and support parents regarding their baby's condition and treatment.
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and teaching activities.
Requirements

Strong experience in a Level III/IV NICU and management of critically ill neonates.
