Requirements
The Project Manager – Data & Analytics is responsible for leading the successful delivery of data modernization, data engineering, analytics, and reporting initiatives. This includes developing and managing project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, risks, and resources. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, applying Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies, and ensuring compliance with data governance and banking regulations. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least 7 years of project management experience, specifically in data platforms, engineering, or analytics, are required. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum Master certifications are also necessary.

Job Purpose:The Project Manager – Data & Analytics is responsible for leading the successful delivery of data modernization, data engineering, analytics, and reporting initiatives across enterprise environments. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards while managing scope, resources, risks, stakeholders, and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager acts as the primary coordination point between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and project sponsors to drive successful execution of data and analytics transformation programs.Key Accountabilities:Lead end-to-end delivery of data platform, data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics projects.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, resource plans, and project budgets.Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, data architects, platform administrators, business analysts, QA teams, and vendors.Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on project requirements.Track project progress against milestones, KPIs, deliverables, and financial targets.Ensure delivery aligns with business objectives, architecture standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.Support vendor management activities, including contract deliverables, escalations, and performance monitoring.Monitor project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements, including data governance and banking regulations.Drive issue resolution and escalation management across multiple workstreams.Prepare project reports, dashboards, executive presentations, and status updates for leadership and clients.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery effectiveness, project governance, and operational efficiency.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.Agile, Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications.Minimum Experience:+7 years of project management experience.Proven experience managing data platform, data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, or digital transformation projects.Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional delivery teams.Job-Specific Skills:Project Management Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).Project Planning and Scheduling.Budget Management and Financial Tracking.Resource Planning and Allocation.Risk, Issue, and Change Management.Stakeholder and Vendor Management.PMO Governance and Reporting.Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.Data Warehousing and Lakehouse Concepts.Data Engineering and ETL/ELT Processes.Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms.Data Governance and Data Management Frameworks.Banking and Regulatory Compliance Awareness (SAMA and related standards).
