Purpose and Scope of PositionThe Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing Accounts Receivable operations, supporting membership accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial records, managing reconciliations, supervising team members, and assisting the Financial Controller in maintaining effective financial controls and reporting.Main Duties (Job Related Duties)Assist and guide Accounts Receivable and Membership team members.Monitor customer ageing reports and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.Reconcile SAP and customer ledger accounts.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement operational enhancements.Train new and existing team members.Coordinate with SAP consultants regarding system developments and enhancements.Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve accounting-related matters.Ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed accurately and on time.Verify that accounting transactions are correctly recorded.Investigate and resolve operational queries and disputes.Liaise with auditors as required.Ensure customer master data is accurately maintained in SAP.Maintain checklists and monitor completion of assigned tasks by subordinates.Ensure adequate staffing and resource allocation within the Accounts Receivable and Membership team.Job ResponsibilitiesA.
