Electrical Engineer Location: Plant Site, Egypt | Department: Engineering / Maintenance | Reports to: Maintenance ManagerRole Summary:Responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of all electrical systems in a chemical manufacturing plant, minimizing downtime and supporting production continuity.Key Responsibilities:Handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of transformers, LV/MV panels, motors, VFDs, switchgear, DG sets, UPS, and lighting.Maintain PLC/control systems in coordination with automation and instrumentation teams.Ensure electrical safety, LOTO, permit-to-work, statutory compliance, and Ex-proof equipment integrity.Conduct RCA/CAPA for electrical failures and reduce repeat breakdowns.Manage electrical spares, contractors, maintenance schedules, SOPs, and equipment records.Support plant shutdowns, new installations, commissioning, modifications, and electrical projects.Monitor energy consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.Prepare maintenance MIS, downtime, cost, and performance reports.
