Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, including over 5 years in a Technical Managerial role. Proven leadership in Offshore Technical Troubleshooting, Maintenance & Project Management is required. Proficiency in SAP CMMS, document control systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project is essential.

We are conducting a search on behalf of a major offshore drilling operator in Saudi Arabia for a Senior Manager – Technical to lead strategic and technical oversight of fleet equipment, maintenance, and reliability across offshore rig operations.Role Overview:This role owns the strategic and technical direction of the fleet's maintenance and reliability function — spanning CMMS, well control, Field Support, and capital equipment management — while driving compliance, longevity, and continuous improvement initiatives across the offshore asset base.Key Responsibilities:Lead Technical Support, Well Control, and Maintenance & Reliability department strategy, goals, and standardsManage department budgets, resources, and toolsOversee SAP CMMS implementation and standardized maintenance practices fleet-wideDirect offshore Field Support teams supporting rig-based mechanical, electrical, and well control integrityDevelop 5-year equipment inspection and maintenance philosophiesProvide strategic technical input into annual maintenance budgetsLead equipment downtime incident investigations and corrective actionsEvaluate new technologies for rig implementationSupport SPS, reactivation, and upgrade projects across the fleetQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in EngineeringMinimum 15 years experience in Oil & Gas, including 5+ years in a Technical Managerial roleProven leadership in Offshore Technical Troubleshooting, Maintenance & Project ManagementSkills:Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilityAdvanced technical problem-solving across offshore fleet operationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Project proficiencyWorking knowledge of document control systems and databasesIf you have the relevant experience—or know someone who would be a great fit—I would be happy to discuss this opportunity in complete confidence.
