FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses are required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships, leading teams and providing financial advice to your clients. A role as a Market Executive in Middle Market Banking is for you. 

 

As a Market Executive in Emerging Middle Market Banking, you will hire and direct team members in their business development efforts to grow and retain profitable banking relationships with federal government contractors. In this role you will be expected to lead a team covering the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services Contracting segment in the Mid-Atlantic Region. You will also partner closely across credit, private banking, investment banking, business development, treasury sales and client service. Emerging Middle Market generally focuses on companies between $20 million and $100 million in sales size. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
  • Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
  • Find ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Ten plus years of account relationship management experience with a focus on Aerospace, Defense and Government Contracting business relationships
  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services with knowledge of the region
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor with proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Management experience in a Commercial Bank setting, specifically leading a commercial lending sales team 
  • Creative solution and problem solving abilities and excellent business judgment with the ability to multitask 
  • FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire 

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
  • Strong technology experience; digital background preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and excellent communication skills
