Requirements
Requires a degree in Geophysics, Geology, Marine Science or related field, and 8+ years of experience in marine geophysics, with expertise in site seabed debris survey, pipeline route survey, and SSS/SBP interpretation. Offshore Middle East experience is also preferred. Proficiency with SonarWiz, Kingdom, IHS, GIS, AutoCAD or equivalent software is necessary.

About the RoleTo lead geophysical data processing, interpretation and reporting for Side Scan Sonar, Sub-Bottom Profiler and seabed hazard assessment projects, supporting offshore operations and client deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Side Scan Sonar and Sub-Bottom Profiler datasets.Interpret seabed features, hazards, debris and shallow geology.Prepare route assessments, anomaly lists and charts.Review third-party survey reports and identify technical non-conformities.Support offshore acquisition team with technical troubleshooting and survey planning.Ensure compliance with client specifications, company procedures and HSE requirements; promote safe systems of work and stop unsafe activities.Support tenders, methodology and client meetings.Support offshore acquisition teams and survey planning.Qualifications1.EducationDegree in Geophysics, Geology, Marine Science or related field2.Professional Experience8+ years marine geophysicsExperience in site seabed debris survey and pipeline route surveySSS/SBP interpretation expertise3.GeographicOffshore Middle East experience4.ComputerSonarWiz, Kingdom, IHS, GIS, AutoCAD or equivalent
