Requirements
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, possess an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, and have a minimum of two years of technical field service, maintenance, or related industrial experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are required, with an electrical background preferred. Knowledge of oil and gas equipment, industrial hardware/software, and networking concepts is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, organizational, planning, customer orientation, project management, communication, independent work, and prioritization skills are essential. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is mandatory, along with the ability to pass a background check, driving record review, drug screening, and physical examination.
Description
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, inspection, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of NOV Service Equipment products at customer locations. This role provides frontline technical support, delivers customer training, and ensures equipment is safely installed, maintained, and operating at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and safety.
