We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end operations of our FMCG warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse performance, accurate inventory management, cost control, safety compliance, and timely order fulfillment.The successful candidate will lead warehouse teams, monitor operational KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.Responsibilities:Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and outbound dispatch.Ensure smooth material flow and compliance with operational SOPs, service-level agreements, and safety standards.Monitor key warehouse KPIs, including order fulfillment, picking accuracy, OTIF, dock-to-stock time, and employee productivity.Lead and supervise warehouse supervisors, team leaders, pickers, and forklift operators.Plan manpower requirements, shifts, and productivity targets according to operational volumes and seasonal demand.Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support employee development.Identify operational bottlenecks and implement lean warehouse practices.Improve picking methods, including batch, wave, and zone picking, to increase productivity.Support the effective utilization of warehouse management systems, automation, and process digitization.Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation.Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO procedures, expiry-date controls, and damage-prevention practices.Coordinate with Inventory Control teams to investigate and resolve stock variances and shrinkage.Control warehouse operating costs, including labor, equipment, and consumables.Optimize warehouse space utilization and material-handling efficiency.Support capacity planning, layout optimization, new SKU onboarding, seasonal peaks, and volume increases.Ensure compliance with HSE, food safety, and applicable local regulations.Maintain a safe working environment and reduce workplace incidents and operational risks.Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and resolve escalated operational issues affecting service levels.
