Description
As the Water Operator Supervisor, you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of the water treatment and distribution systems at Al Udeid Air Base. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in water system operations, proven leadership abilities, and the ability to ensure safe and reliable water service for base personnel.Essential Job FunctionsSupervise and coordinate daily operations of the base water treatment and distribution systems.Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Monitor system performance, identify operational issues, and implement corrective actions.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize system efficiency and longevity.Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to water system operators and support staff.Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate records, and assist in budgeting and resource planning.Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot system failures, and coordinate repairs as needed.Conduct training sessions to maintain team competency and promote best practices in water system management.Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust hold Class III Water System Operations Certification.Minimum of 4 years of water system operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, water quality standards, and distribution system operations.Additional RequirementsMust possess a valid U.S. Driver's LicensePossess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICYAble to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for QatarMust be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.TRAVEL: 100%, in deployed location.SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLCwww.intrepidgs.comIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC.
