Job Description
Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced specialist endocrinologist to diagnose and manage patients with endocrine, hormonal, and metabolic disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in diabetes management, thyroid disorders, metabolic diseases, and other endocrine conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and endocrine evaluations.
Diagnose and manage diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, obesity, metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.
Manage patients with complex and poorly controlled diabetes and its complications.
Evaluate and manage thyroid nodules and other thyroid abnormalities.
Assess hormonal and metabolic abnormalities and coordinate appropriate investigations.
Interpret laboratory tests, hormone profiles, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
Provide ongoing monitoring and adjustment of medications and treatment plans.
Counsel patients on nutrition, lifestyle modification, weight management, and disease prevention.
Coordinate care with diabetologists, cardiologists, nephrologists, surgeons, dietitians, and other specialists when required.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
Qualifications & Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
MD / DNB / MRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in endocrinology.
Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
Strong experience in managing endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
