Job description

As a flight facilitation assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of Etihad Airways and partner airline flights by ensuring flight crews have access to the latest operational information, documentation, and support services required for every journey.
Working within a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment, you will provide essential support to flight crews, flight dispatch, crew operations, airport stakeholders, and operational teams across our global network. From managing flight documentation and crew briefings to supporting post-flight record management and maintaining the operational readiness of the crew briefing centre, you will help ensure seamless operations and a world-class crew experience.
Accountabilities
Ensure operational flight documentation, including operational flight plans (OFPs), general declarations (GenDecs), and other required flight documents, is available and distributed in accordance with operational timelines.
Monitor documentation updates, amendments, and revisions, ensuring flight crews receive the latest approved information before departure.
Support crew briefing activities by providing operational information and first-line assistance to flight crews.
Coordinate with flight dispatch, crew operations, hub control centre, airports, ground handling agents, partner airlines, and other operational stakeholders to facilitate crew and documentation requirements.
Retrieve, verify, record, archive, and manage post-flight documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Respond to requests for operational records and documentation from authorized departments including flight operations, flight safety, finance, and fleet management.
Support crew check-in activities, baggage handling processes, and general crew support requirements within the crew briefing centre.
Monitor the operational readiness of briefing facilities, crew kiosks, printers, baggage handling equipment, and operational systems, escalating issues when required.
Maintain clear communication during shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of crew briefing centre operations.
Qualifications
Education & experience
High school qualification, aviation-related degree, or flight operations-related licence.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience within a flight operations, crew operations, or aviation operational environment.
Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Training & knowledge
Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with AIMS and LIDO flight planning systems is preferred.
Good understanding of aviation operational procedures and crew briefing processes.
Understanding of operational documentation management and flight crew support activities.
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a shift-based operational environment.
