This role is responsible for menu development, recipe creation, and maintaining authentic Asian flavors while ensuring consistent food quality and presentation. The Head Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, including production planning, inventory control, ordering, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. This position will manage, train, and mentor kitchen team members, coordinate with front-of-house leadership, and support cost control and waste reduction. The Head Chef will also contribute to new concept ideas, seasonal specials, and guest experience enhancements aligned with Boniv Hospitality's vision.QualificationsStrong expertise in Asian cuisines, with proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in an Asian kitchen.Advanced skills in menu development, recipe standardization, and plating, with a focus on flavor balance and authenticity.Demonstrated experience managing kitchen operations, including ordering, inventory, cost control, and scheduling.Thorough knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in professional kitchen environments.Leadership ability to train, motivate, and develop diverse kitchen teams in a fast-paced setting.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with front-of-house and management teams.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to consistency.Relevant culinary education or professional certification is preferred; experience in high-volume or premium dining concepts is a plus.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business needs.
