Job Overview:

Weatherford have a great opportunity for an experienced Global Aftermarket Manager MPD (Managed Pressure Drilling) to join the Team at the MPD Center of Excellence in North Houston.

The MPD Aftermarket Manager is responsible for leading the commercial execution strategy for the global MPD aftermarket business, driving profitable revenue growth while ensuring operational excellence from opportunity identification through customer delivery. This role leads a team of Aftermarket Leaders and Aftermarket Commercial Operations Coordinators, providing strategic direction for customer engagement, business development, pricing governance, execution visibility, forecasting, and revenue realization. The Aftermarket Manager partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Regional Commercial organizations to improve customer experience, accelerate execution, standardize commercial processes, and maximize aftermarket profitability.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute the global aftermarket commercial strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Drive revenue growth across repairs & maintenance (R&M), spare parts, upgrades, rentals, software, and technical services.

  • Establish commercial priorities, target accounts, and market growth initiatives.

  • Develop lifecycle management strategies to increase installed base penetration and customer retention.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Aftermarket Leader and Aftermarket Commercial Operations Coordinator teams.

  • Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and development plans.

  • Foster collaboration between commercial and operational teams.

  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution, and customer satisfaction.

Customer & Commercial Leadership

  • Oversee strategic customer relationships and executive engagement.

  • Support commercial negotiations, framework agreements, and key account strategies.

  • Review major proposals and pricing strategies.

  • Lead resolution of significant customer escalations.

Commercial Operations & Execution

  • Establish governance for the RFQ-to-delivery process.

  • Drive improvements in quote responsiveness, execution visibility, and customer communication.

  • Ensure consistent execution of commercial processes across all regions.

  • Remove organizational barriers impacting customer delivery.

Forecasting & Revenue Management

  • Own the global aftermarket forecast.

  • Monitor opportunity pipeline, backlog, and expected revenue realization.

  • Lead weekly revenue flash reviews and identify revenue-at-risk.

  • Drive corrective actions to recover delayed revenue.

Performance Management

  • Develop and maintain commercial KPIs and operational dashboards.

  • Review performance across:

  • Pipeline

  • Revenue

  • Margin

  • Quote cycle time

  • On-time delivery

  • Customer satisfaction

  • Forecast accuracy

  • Present performance updates to executive leadership.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.

  • 8–12 years of experience in commercial leadership, aftermarket operations, account management, sales, or industrial service businesses.

  • 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong commercial, financial, and operational acumen.

  • Experience in oil & gas, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or aftermarket services preferred.
