The role will provide clinical and technical oversight across laboratory disciplines, ensuring accurate, timely, and clinically relevant reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, validation, and interpretation of laboratory results.Clinical consultation and support to referring physicians.Oversight of laboratory quality, workflows, and technical practices.Support accreditation and regulatory compliance.Guidance on test selection, utilization, troubleshooting, and protocol development.Training and professional development of laboratory staff.Participation in quality improvement and service development initiatives.QualificationsMedical degree with recognized specialization in Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine.Valid DOH license or eligibility letter.Strong experience across Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, and Microbiology.Knowledge of laboratory quality control, quality assurance, and accreditation requirements.Strong clinical interpretation and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.Familiarity with LIS and digital laboratory reporting systems.Strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead laboratory teams, coordinate effectively with clinicians and stakeholders, manage priorities, and foster a collaborative work environment.Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
