Requirements
Emirati nationals with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field are required. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in industrial, plant, or construction environments, is necessary. Strong working knowledge of SAP (PO, GRPO, vendor coordination) and familiarity with Health & Safety standards and Contractor Safety Management (CSM) are essential. Excellent coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills are also a must.
Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team in Dubai. The role plays a critical part in supporting day-to-day plant operations, vendor management, prequalification processes and Contractor Safety Management (CSM), while ensuring full compliance with procurement, health & safety and company policies.This position is ideal for someone with strong procurement knowledge, hands-on SAP experience, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & OperationsSupport day-to-day procurement activities for plant operationsDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of the procurement lifecycle and related MCSObtain and evaluate a multiple quotations, ensuring best price and qualityCreate and release Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP for local and GCC suppliersHandle GRPO processing and coordinate invoice submission with FinanceTrack pending or missing invoices and follow up on vendor paymentsOrder hired equipment as instructed by managementMaintain accurate stores and procurement recordsLead vendor prequalification and requalification processes for goods and servicesSupport the department in achieving CSM targets and deadlinesCoordinate with the Admin team while ensuring strict adherence to procurement policiesCarry out additional tasks as assigned by the procurement leadershipHealth, Safety & ComplianceAct as a role model in promoting a strong Health & Safety culture across all procurement-related activitiesEnsure compliance with Group H&S policies, rules and regulations on-site, and on the roadPromote safety awareness through safety meetings, talks, and initiativesEnsure proper use of PPE and adherence to standard operating proceduresPrepare risk assessments, permits, and LOTOTO prior to task executionConduct regular inspection of tools in line with RMG requirementsAchieve monthly safety targetsMaintain zero personal involvement in accidents and comply with working hour limitsKey RequirementsEmirati- MandatoryBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred)Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within industrial, plant, or construction environmentsStrong working knowledge of SAP (PO, GRPO, vendor coordination)Familiarity with Health & Safety standards and Contractor Safety Management (CSM)Excellent coordination, documentation, and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environmentInterested candidates are encouraged to apply and be part of a dynamic procurement team supporting critical plant operations.
