Requirements

We are currently looking for a Staff accountant to join our team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Management: Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactionsRecord journal entries to close books on a monthly basisReconcile assigned accounts on a monthly basisAccounts Payable:Record invoices, obtain approval, and generate paymentsManage supplier tax documentation, including VAT IDs and other required tax information, support contractor income tracking, and ensure VAT compliance where applicableOrganize and maintain vendor recordsAudit Coordination:Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual auditsProvide necessary documentation and support during auditsCompliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standardsOther Areas:Ad hoc projectsCrosstrain and back up other team members when necessaryRequirementsFluent German (written and spoken)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2+ years of experience in financial accounting or a similar accounting roleFamiliarity with Hubspot, Ramp, and similar toolsMultitasking, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBenefitsThe anticipated base salary range for this role is E£26,10,000-E£40,60,000 EGP annually.
