Requirements

  • Currently pursuing (3rd year or higher) Bachelor of Science in Environmental
    Health & Safety, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, or a related
    discipline.

    • Stakeholder Management: Good communication and interpersonal

    skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and collaborate

    effectively across diverse teams.

    • Project Organization: Strong organizational and management skills

    to track multiple action plans simultaneously and follow up on

    execution milestones.

    • Data Synthesis & Storytelling: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

    and PowerPoint/Google Slides to turn departmental inputs into

    structured trackers and clear visual presentations.

    • Adaptability & Initiative: A proactive, problem-solving mindset

    capable of helping teams break down high-level, complex goals into

    manageable daily practices.

In this role, the intern will collaborate directly with various operational departments to help them define long-term sustainability goals, build actionable execution plans, and establish baseline tracking for internal reporting. Cross-Departmental Goal Setting: Partner with department leads (Procurement, Operations, HR,R&D, Facilities, etc.) to identify long-term sustainability opportunities and translate corporate vision into team-specific goals.Action Plan Development: Support individual teams in structuring tactical roadmaps, setting keyperformance indicators (KPIs), and defining practical execution steps to reach their targets.Communication & Visuals: Draft presentation decks, visual dashboards, and progress summaries to share achievements and strategic roadmaps with leadership.Internal Data & Progress Reporting: Collect, organize, and maintain baseline operational metrics(e.g., resource usage, waste generation, efficiency gains) to build internal progress scorecards.Initiative Coordination & Engagement: Organize cross-functional workshops, track task completion across departments, and maintain momentum on ongoing sustainability projects.
