Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Engineering, or a related field. 1-3 years of relevant experience in Health & Safety. Previous experience working on infrastructure projects is required.
Description
Job Purpose:Responsible for supporting on-site safety operations by carrying out inspections, monitoring work practices, and ensuring all personnel follow the company's safety procedures and regulations. The role focuses on hands-on site supervision to prevent accidents, enforce PPE use, and report unsafe conditions to management.Main job duties and responsibilitiesConduct daily site safety checks to ensure compliance with safety standardsMonitor workers use of PPE and immediately correct non-complianceIdentify unsafe practices or hazardous conditionsAssist in carrying out safety inductions for workers and subcontractorsMaintain records of daily safety inspections and incidentsAssist in investigating minor incidents and preparing basic incident reportsEnsure safety signs, barricades, and warning devices are in place where requiredHelp monitor safe use of tools, equipment, and machinerySupport emergency preparedness activities, such as drills and evacuation plansStop any activity that poses an immediate danger until it is made safeCoordinate with the site first aid team when neededPerform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job's specialtyJob requirement:Educational background and previous experienceBachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Engineering, or a related field.1–3 years of relevant experience in Health & Safety.Previous experience working on infrastructure projects is required.
